Sun-Dried Tomato & Feta Pull-Apart Garlic Knots

It’s 2015, so I finally decided I should start using that personal twitter account I created 4 years ago.  Now I’m sucked in– I think it was the Foodie Band Name hashtag that sealed my fate.  I used to tell everyone that I didn’t use twitter because I just didn’t get it, but I’m starting to catch on, guys.  I’m finally catching on.

In the spirit of keeping up with the times, I decided that my social media presence wasn’t the only thing that needed an update.  Some of my favorite recipes could use a fresh change as well.  For example, I’d been making super simple Garlic Knots for years, to the point that they were beginning to get boring.  Garlic Knots!  Boring!  I know, it’s crazy!

Pull-Apart Pretzel Skillet with Beer Cheese Dip

Today I was planning on posting a different recipe, but I’m feeling very German at the moment so pretzels and beer were a must.

Pull-Apart Pretzel Skillet with Beer Cheese Dip. This skillet is great for a party or game day!

By “feeling very German”, I mean that my whole house is now obsessed with DuoLingo (if you want to learn a language, look it up, it’s free and I’ve been using it for years now!), and I just discovered a kick-butt German music artist that I have been listening to non-stop for the past week.

Non-stop.  I’m listening to him right now, in fact.

Do you ever get like that when you discover a new song/band?  I will literally play the same song 10 times in a row if I have my headphones in.  Tell me I’m not alone.

And while I admittedly had no idea what I was doing when I first attempted to make this bread, I have to say that turned out brilliantly as well.  It honestly tastes just like an apple fritter, but is so much easier to make, requires no frying, and is fun to share.  Between the flavorful apple filling, the airy biscuit bread, and the sweet vanilla glaze, this loaf is exactly what you want to be baking up for special Sunday breakfasts, Fall-flavored desserts, or party-picking enjoyment.

Buffalo Chicken Pull-Apart Bread

(Part of the Super Bowl Theme Thursday Series)

Before you go all crazy telling me what a great idea this is, let me apologize.  I did not make this recipe up.  I saw this recipe for Buffalo Chicken Pull-Apart Bread from Bev Cooks on Pinterest, and knew I had to try it out for myself, with a few adaptations to suit my tastes and make it easier.

This is basically buffalo chicken pizza in a loaf… a loaf of bread you can pull apart and eat.  And share.  Or not.
