I’m Morgan, and this is where I share all of the food that I photograph before I send it off to my stomach. You’ll see a wide range of recipes here because my appetite knows no allegiance. That means some recipes will be bacon-wrapped, some will be vegetarian, some will be sweet, some will be healthy, and some will be loaded with carbs and filled with cheese. OK, most will be filled with cheese.
But I digress. The point is, there is no niche. All things delicious are fair game, which means you’ll always be able to find something that is right up your alley. The only qualification for a recipe to appear here is that it has to be a tasty creation that I’m excited about. I hope you get excited about them, too.
I started the Host the Toast blog at the end of 2012 with my coworkers at Kitchen Kapers, Brian and Frankie. At the time, I mainly focused on my job as a copywriter and worked on the blog on the side, but after a few years, Host the Toast grew to become the official Kitchen Kapers blog and I became a full-time food blogger.

I mentioned Brian earlier, and although you don’t see him posting, he still is a huge part of the blog behind the scenes. He is who you can thank for keeping me in line and keeping the site functioning. In other words, Brian is the real MVP.
Speaking of MVPs, I want this blog to be yours. If you want a recipe source to rely on, Host the Toast will be that for you. If you ever have a question, feel free to post a comment or contact me through Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram!
